Welcome to our new manager
Alex has been with the Healthwatch network since its launch in 2013, with his former role as the Chief Officer of Healthwatch Salford. Alex brings with him extensive knowledge of organisational management, community empowerment and public engagement. He is passionate about ensuring the public voice makes a difference in shaping health and care services.
I am very pleased to be joining Healthwatch Tameside to ensure the voice of the patient is heard and used to make sure that those running services, continue to put people at the heart of care. It is crucial that patient voice is at the forefront of system planning and service design, to ensure provision is accessible and equitable for everyone. I look forward to working with the excellent team within the service, our partners and the patients who use health and care service in the Borough.
On behalf of the Healthwatch Tameside Board it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to Alex. We look forward to working with him in the sure knowledge that he understands the statutory duties of Healthwatch and has a vision to build upon the strong history of Healthwatch here in Tameside.
