Mental health survey

Have you needed support for your mental health in the last 12 months?
Or are you a carer of someone needing support?
Have your say speech bubble

In 2017 we carried out a large project about people's experiences of using mental health services. The report we published can be seen here.

A number of changes have been made to mental health services since then. This includes new services being launched.

We are carrying out another survey over the summer.

We want to find out whether feedback about people's experiences has improved.

If you have needed support for your mental health in the last 12 months or so, we would love to hear from you. This support could have been provided by a mental health service, or it could be from a community group or charity.

If you have asked for help, and not been able to receive this, we also want to hear from you.

Feedback from carers of people with mental health challenges can also be given in the survey.

If you know someone who does not have access to the internet who would like to complete the survey, please ask them to call 0161 667 2526 and leave us a message on the answerphone.

We will call them back, and either arrange to post a paper copy, or complete the survey over the phone.

We can also attend community groups in Tameside to talk to people there, and help them to complete the survey. Please ask the organisation to get in touch with us, to arrange a suitable time.

The mental health survey has now closed. If you have feedback to share about mental health services, this can be recorded on our Health and care experiences survey
