Mental health care focus groups
On 1st April 2017, we held an event at the Grafton Centre, where everyone discussed their experiences of mental health care in the past.
Healthwatch Tameside are now ready for the next stage of the project. We are holding focus groups (up to about 12 people at each). We will discuss what people who use the mental health services think care should look like in the future, over a brew and a piece of cake.
We know there is a review taking place of all aspects of mental health care. This is our chance to give recommendations for change.
The groups will be held at:
- Volunteer Centre, 95 -97 Penny Meadow, Ashton on Thursday 10th August 2017, at 2pm
- Volunteer Centre, 95 -97 Penny Meadow, Ashton on Wednesday 16th August 2017, at 11am.
We ask people to only attend one group please, as the discussions will be the same at each. If you have used mental health services, and would like to take part, please give us a call on 0161 667 2526, or text 07471 218454. If a lot of people are interested, we will arrange an additional group.
If you have access needs you would like us to help with, so you can attend, please let us know.
We hope you can join us.
